Book 1 in the Crow Series - A dark romance
by Amanda Mackey
I am a menace to society who takes lives without blinking.
I was bred this way by the devil himself. The man who raised me.
When the time comes, I'll bury him too, but until then, the Little Starling in the park
has my full attention.
With raven colored hair and disarming eyes, she kickstarts my cold, dead heart back to life.
But even the brightest of lights can't win against the monster inside.
And when he comes out to play, more than her wings will be clipped by his wrath.
Crow is a dark romance about surviving against the odds and finding love again.
It has scenes that may be distressing for some readers. Caution is advised.

Definitely a dark story with fascinating characters and a plot that proceeds at a decent pace. One very hot steamy scene but a whole lot of chemistry.

So this had a kind of happily-for-now vibe with a definite cliffhanger. I hope the next book comes out sooner, as I hate cliffhangers, but they somehow end up being amazing in series. (I just hate waiting.) And while I like my romance dark, this one had some very dark and truly disturbing themes. I do not give away triggers or plots, so I will only say that if you are easily traumatized by what you read, pass on this book. If you are like me and find the dark and gritty side of life interesting and something that brings depth to the story, this is the book for you. I look forward to the next book from this author.
